Our cultural tours present you the whole cultural, traditional and natural wealth of Armenia. In the capital city Yerevan we will visit the State History Museum, Manuscript Museum, and many other treasuries of centuries-old Armenian heritage. We will visit the countryside to see the historic, religious and architectural monuments, among them the religious capital Echmiadzin, the cave monastery of Geghard, and many others, that are located in the most picturesque natural surroundings. All this will be enriched with special experiences like tasting home-made meals and learning the recipes of local dishes, watching how traditional Armenian “lavash” bread is made in a special ground oven, visiting studios of local artists and craftsmen. Pilgrimage

Being the first country to proclaim Christianity as its state religion in 301, Armenia has been an important Christian pilgrimage site for centuries. Visit the Mother See of Holy Echmiadizin to see its Cathedral. Here you can hear the Divine Liturgy performed by the amazing choir of Echmiadzin. you will have a chance to see important relics like the Holy Lance, a fragment of Noah’s Ark, and many others. On this tour we will have a meeting with a priest who will talk about the history, origins and peculiarities of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit the Christian sites of Khor Virap located at the foot of biblical Mt. Ararat, Zvartnots Cathedral, Geghard cave monastery, and many others and learn how Christianity was spread in Armenia. Wine & Gourmet

Armenia is one of the oldest countries in the world to make wine. As local people say, the first vine was planted here by Noah after descending from Mt. Ararat following the Great Flood. The recent archeological  discoveries in Areni village come to prove that people made wine here since at least 6100 years ago, and this tradition still continues here today. On this tour we will visit wineries in different parts of the country to taste the difference in varieties of grapes and technology used. We will also visit villagers who still make wine at home by the traditions kept in the family for generations. You will also learn about the beautiful and very important tradition of toast making. In the capital city Yerevan we will have an unforgettable evening at a wine bar where our dinner will include tasting of several varieties of wine accompanied by explanations of a sommelier. In September-October it would be possible to participate in the process of making wine and to take part in the annual wine festival. This tour also provides unforgettable gourmet experiences!

Being a small mountainous country, Armenia boasts a fantastic diversity of flora, fauna and landscapes. For a nature lover this is a real paradise.
